The First Week

I can't believe that it's been almost a week since I landed in Manila. My first week here has flown by and has been full of wonderful experiences. I've definitely enjoyed getting to know the Hagens, the family I'll be working with here. They already feel like family and have made this transition so much easier. I've had the opportunity to go with them to several of the Bible studies that are in progress, and I'm so excited about what God is doing in this place! Please pray for the Agta people, and especially for these Bible studies. Please also pray for me as I continue orientation and begin language learning soon. Pray that I would have patience, boldness, and confidence in God's strength despite my own weakness.
