So I realize that I've fallen behind on updating the blog, and I apologize. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind... good, busy, and difficult at times. I spent two weeks in the city of Legaspi, staying with a local pastor and his wife. My main project while I was there was to make an audio recording of the Bible stories used in the lessons in Tagalog. Shane (the pastor I stayed with) read the stories and I did the editing. I really enjoyed this project and we were able to finish recording all of the stories... and I am almost finished with the editing.
On July 2nd, I made the trip back from Legaspi to Iriga. That evening, a missionary couple arrived that is moving to the area. So I stayed with them for a week and a half, helping them move into their house and get settled into their new town.
The Hagens returned from their trip on Saturday, and yesterday we went apartment-hunting for me. We were able to find a great apartment in a really good location. We will sign the contract tomorrow and go shopping for all the furnishings. Hopefully I'll be moving in within the week.
