Where the Concrete Ends...

... is where the adventure begins.

Today I made the trek out to visit both of our Nehemiah Teams. As you drive to the Rinconada Team's location, you're driving along on a nice two-lane road when suddenly the concrete comes to an end. And that's where the fun craziness begins... driving on the rough roads requires much concentration and a higher level of faith. Where the concrete ends, things get messy and unpredictable. It struck me today as I was driving that this is what these teams have done... gone to the end of the road, where the concrete ends and the adventure with God begins. They're learning what it means to lean on God completely and to trust Him for all things. But they've also got a front-row seat to the amazing things that God is doing among the Agta.

Please be praying for these teams as they continue ministering among the Agta people. Pray for open ears and soft hearts that are hungry for the Word. Pray for unity among each team. Pray for continued good health. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they decide where and how to best spend their time. Pray especially for the team leaders, Kari & Macey, as they guide their teams in serving Him and sharing Truth.
