On Tuesday I went out to pick up our Nehemiah Teams from their first villages. We all stayed at the home of my coworkers and had a great day just relaxing and sharing what God has been teaching them so far this summer. It was such a blessing to see so tangibly the Body coming together as one to give glory to the Father, laugh & cry together, and encourage one another. Everyone enjoyed having some downtime and fellowship (not to mention a real shower and toilet!).
The next day I took both teams to their second locations. They are all settled in and excited to get to work in these new places. For the Rinconada team, please pray that the people in their village would be receptive and open to building relationships with the team members. For the Bicol team, pray especially for the guys (Donnatello & Rey), that they will be able to seek out the men of the village in order to build relationships and teach the Word.
