Just like last year, we have 2 groups of American college students coming to serve with us on Nehemiah Teams this summer. They arrive the first week of June, so I'm busy with planning and making preparations for their time here. The Agta tribal people are spread all throughout the Bicol region (pictured below). So far, our team has focused on villages in Cam Sur and Albay (in purple and yellow on the map). The Nehemiah Teams this year will be opening up a new area of work in Sorsogon province (in orange on the map). My friend Jessica, who lives in Manila, is coming to spend a couple weeks here in Bicol, so she will come with me on a survey trip to two areas of Sorsogon. Our goal is to make contacts with tribals in those areas and arrange places for our NT's to serve this summer.
Please be praying for this trip. Ask the Lord for safe travel, lots of His wisdom, language abilities, and for divine appointments with people who can help us find the best places for the NT's. Our trip will be April 29 thru May 3. I'm excited to see how the Lord will work through this trip and through the NT's this summer! Thank you for joining with us in prayer!
