Our team has been working to mobilize the Bogkalot tribal church (from the north part of our island) to send out their own workers to help reach the Agta. On Easter Sunday the first 2 teams of workers arrived here in Bicol. We spent a couple days doing an orientation with them in Naga, then they moved to their locations out in the village.
the whole group when they were commissioned
and sent out by their churches
this team will be focusing on the Agta who speak the In-Agta language
Pacdal (a widower) and his youngest daughter
Dona (she will be attending a local college)
Gary & Levita and their kids: Jeberson, Ivy & Levis
this team will focus on the Agta who speak the Buhinon language
Abel, a single guy
Jun & Vilma and their kids:
Juby (also attending a local college), Jera & JJ
and now we have a total of 10 mk's in Bicol :)
Please join us in lifting up these precious people as they get settled in their new areas. Their first tasks are to get settled, build their houses, & start forming relationships. In a few weeks they will begin language study. Lift up the adults as well as the kids as they adjust to a new culture, climate & language. Pray specifically for the two college girls who will take their transfer exams on Monday morning (Sunday night U.S. time). Praise Him for the way He is at work here among the Agta!
